- Associate: architectural programming, sustainability evaluation and consulting.
- Director, My Green Home in a Box: Designed a sustainable kit home that is pre-designed to be certifiable in several categories including LEED for Homes and the Florida Green Building Coalition Green Home Designation. In addition to the SIP walls roof and floor, the kit includes, among other things, finish materials, cabinets, appliances, fixtures, and a solar hot water system.
Carlson Studio Architecture 1/2007 – 8/2008
- Project management for institutional, commercial and residential building types, including assisted living facilities, custom homes, and residential multi-family. Responsible for drafting staff supervision, project scheduling, consultant coordination, code research, product research and client contact from design development through construction management. Carlson Studio specializes in sustainable design and LEED certification.
Russell Design Assoc., Englewood Florida 8/2005 – 12/2007
- Responsible for projects from preliminary design through permit documentation for custom homes and multi family residential buildings, including coastal construction.
Graphic Design - Englewood Florida 3/2002 – 5/2005
- Graphic design, illustration and web design done as an employee and on a freelance basis for variety of publications and clients, including homebuilders, construction developers and the Englewood Chamber of Commerce. Employers included Signature Marketing Group in Englewood and Miles Media Group in Sarasota.
SYDA Foundation – South Fallsburg, NY 1991 – 2000
Architecture:
- Produced design and construction documents for a variety of in-house projects, including hotel renovation, restaurant remodel, a video studio and public assembly space. Developed the architectural program and was the project coordinator for a 35,000 sq. ft. warehouse distribution center and office complex. Team participant, landscape design and construction documentation for a public plaza, an 80-acre park, and a 30-acre public garden.

- Graphic design assistant in the Arts and Publications Department
Vertex Design Systems, Architectural Software Development – San Francisco 1988 – 1991
- AutoCAD third party Architectural Standard Details software development. Responsibilities included: conceptual design for the detailing software; development of a database of architectural details based on the CSI system.
